  The S.A.T. recently announced an "adversity score" that aims to add context to the otherwise flat test scores. Problem is, it's guaranteed to be used and abused by those with ample advantages already. For the writing section, your score on the multiple-choice questions (20 to 80) is combined with the score (2 to 12) on your essay to produce a final writing score ( to ).
